Policies

Terms, shipping & returns

Review before launch. This page is a working draft written to match how the parts store operates. Read every clause, adjust it to how you actually trade, and have it checked by your attorney. Stripe also requires a reachable refund and contact policy before it will fully activate an account.

Ordering & payment

Parts are ordered through the store and paid by card at checkout. Payment is processed by Stripe; we never see or store card details. Prices are in US dollars and exclude shipping and any applicable sales tax, both of which are calculated at checkout.

Instruments and service work are not sold through the store. They are quoted individually and invoiced against a purchase order.

Stock & availability

Stock levels shown on the store are maintained manually and are accurate to the last update. If an item sells out between your order and dispatch we will contact you within one business day and refund in full or offer an equivalent.

Shipping

Parts ship from our facility within the lead time stated on each listing, on business days. Vacuum pump oil and other liquids ship by ground only. Vacuum pumps and other heavy items ship freight and may require a delivery appointment.

Title and risk of loss pass on delivery to the carrier. Tracking is emailed as soon as the label is created.

Returns

Unused parts in original packaging may be returned within 30 days of delivery for a refund less shipping. Contact support@lcmsscientific.com for a return authorisation before shipping anything back.

Consumables, calibration solutions, opened emitter and needle packs, and vacuum oil are non-returnable once opened.

If a part arrives damaged or is not as described, tell us within five business days and we will cover return shipping and replace or refund it.

Warranty

New parts carry the manufacturer's warranty where one applies. Refurbished parts carry a 90-day functional warranty from delivery covering failure in normal use. Warranty does not cover damage from incorrect installation, contamination, or operation outside the instrument's specification.

Instrument warranties are stated in the individual quotation.

Compatibility

Fitment information is provided in good faith to help you identify the right part. It remains your responsibility to confirm the part suits your instrument and configuration. If you are unsure, email support@lcmsscientific.com with your model and serial number before ordering.

Thermo Finnigan, Thermo Scientific, AB Sciex, TurboIonSpray, LINAC, Analyst, Xcalibur, Micromass, Agilent, Edwards and CTC Analytics are trademarks of their respective owners. LCMS Scientific is an independent supplier and is not affiliated with, authorised by, or endorsed by these manufacturers. Manufacturer names are used solely to describe instrument compatibility.
